WHAT YOU SHOULD KNOW ABOUT US:

As an (experienced) Java Software Developer, you’ll be responsible for modern applications that we develop using Java and operate in the AWS cloud. We also use Python scripts for automation and process optimization. You’ll actively help shape our services and processes—and create real value for the business.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:

Further development and maintenance of (backend) applications based on Java and Python
Participation in the entire development cycle: from code reviews and automated testing to deployment
Data querying and processing in our applications using SQL
Monitoring of operational processes as well as identification and resolution of issues
Close collaboration within an agile team and with the users of our solutions
Creation and maintenance of technical documentation

YOUR PROFILE:

Several years of experience (mid-level) in software development with Java, ideally also with Python
Very good knowledge of Java frameworks, especially Spring
Knowledge of SQL, primarily MySQL, is required
AWS certification or a willingness to obtain it (partially during work hours)
Experience with containerization (Docker) and Git as well as CI/CD pipelines is desirable
Fluency in English (Level C1) and German (Level B2)
Communicative within the team with the ability to discuss various approaches to solutions, combined with the ability to work independently
