Matthias Wargers completed his master's degree in economics at the University of Nuremberg and has been working in the financial industry for over 25 years. As a member of the supervisory board and chairman of the risk committee, he supported the restructuring of NordLB and was involved in setting up the private equity firm SENCO Capital, which focuses on companies in the energy transition and hydrogen sectors. Prior to that, he was a long-standing spokesman for the EAA board. In this role, and previously as head of corporate development at WestLB, he realigned and successfully positioned numerous companies, particularly in the financial sector, in the market.

Daniel Piatek graduated with a degree in economics, specialising in banking management, from the University of Basel and has been active in the financial sector for more than 20 years. In various senior management roles at Deutsche Bundesbank, NORD/LB, Deutsche Postbank, comdirect bank and, most recently, PEAC Germany GmbH, he was responsible for key areas of risk management, compliance and overall bank management. In addition, he has led numerous transformation and digitalisation projects and overseen the implementation of complex regulatory requirements in the banking sector.

Kai Friedrichs began his professional career with an apprenticeship in mechanical engineering and systems technology before moving into the financial sector. Following roles at Commerzbank AG and Sparkasse Münsterland Ost, he joined Ascory Bank in 2011. Alongside his professional career, he obtained a qualification as a Certified Banking Specialist from the Frankfurt School of Finance & Management, as well as a Master of Science in Occupational and Communication Psychology. Since 2019, he has been responsible for key areas of the bank as Chief Operating Officer (COO) and Chief Information Officer (CIO) and also lectures at the Frankfurt School.
