Ascory Bank combines its financial commitment into an annual donation, with the amount determined by the company’s performance. This has already made it possible to provide financial support to many great institutions and initiatives. The initiative or institution that receives the annual donation is determined democratically by the bank's employees and may change from year to year.

Social Commitment Showing engagement together
In addition to its annual financial donation, Ascory Bank is actively committed to selected social causes. In doing so, we focus our attention both internally and externally. Responsible and value-based action goes hand in hand with our philosophy, culture, and company's mission statement. For this to work effectively in practice, it takes, above all, the people who make a difference.
Since 2020, Ascory Bank employees have been involved as gift sponsors for children at “Die Arche” during the pre-Christmas season. We also have a tradition of sending postcards to lonely people at Easter and Christmas.
At our Sofia location, we also support local initiatives as well as nonprofit and charitable organizations. We participate in Bulgaria’s largest Christmas gift campaign “Teddy Bear,” which fulfills the wishes of disadvantaged children. In addition, we take part in Karin Dom’s Martenitsa campaign, which aims to improve the quality of life and promote equal opportunities for people with disabilities in Bulgaria.
Environmental commitment Taking responsibility together
Since early 2018, Ascory Bank has been an active member of the EnvironmentalPartnership Hamburg, which was founded in 2003 by the Hamburg Senate. It bridges the gap between ecology and the economy. The network currently comprises around 1,250 companies of various sizes and from different industries. What unites them is their interest in corporate environmental protection. Active partners such as Ascory Bank voluntarily go beyond what is required by law to protect the environment and combat climate change.
